@ROKKR@PsyonixStudios@RocketLeague @MNCS2020
@LawlerTV says RLCS should come to Minnesota... The Minnesota rocket league community is genuinely one of the best communities out there, DONT SLEEP ON THIS. #RLCStoMN https://t.co/m6fhQBN5qk
@alicekeeler Careful! One time I thought I was just "adding a couple of functions in excel," next thing I knew my entire career changed to software engineering
This weekly bit of brightness is curated by @EdjiNotes cofounder @WillStewartIV - it's got uplifting stories, tips, and education news for parents and teachers. Check out The Morning Apple and let's get through remote learning together! https://t.co/NSzvNfYgfS #LearnTogether
@cybercody@EdjiNotes I think of twists, usually on the cooking shows. A last minute tool or idea that students have to add in. Sometimes adding a timer and watching it count down can increaes the chaos, too #edjichat
@EdjiNotes A1: Goals! Just like games, learning needs a goal which necessitates the use of the 4 C's. Without a goal, it's difficult for anyone (esp students) to be engaged in the learning. #EdjiChat
Introduction:
🧡Who are you?
🧡Where are you?
🧡What do you do?
🧡What is your all-time favorite game?
We’re going to use the #EdjiChat for continuity, but if you’re interested in games to play IN Edji, be sure to check out #Games4Edji
@GuiseGotTechEd What kinds of goals do you see students setting? Curious because goal setting was not something I ever learned in school, or at least it was not taught intentionally, but it's so critical to my life today
@learnswithzeal I'd love to get to a place where students could look back on the learning they've done over the year, with a teacher or on a subject. Things they've liked, things they've said, etc 🤔
A3: We use Edji with the team here all of the time for asynchronously investigating ideas, collecting feedback, and brainstorming. It's just the best tool for the job! Ts can do the same with any lesson where they really want to investigate the Ss ideas or comprehension #EdjiChat
A2: Dreams are my favorite - students love sharing what they think (as long as they know they'll be heard). Just put them in front of any lesson you already have and they'll begin pouring out their thoughts, which many times include their dreams! #EdjiChat#remotelearning
