✅ True: Ghana’s central bank did lose $1.9B on gold purchases in 2025 (IMF Report). But context matters:
The same program formalized $10B+ in gold exports, raised reserves to $11.9B, and helped stabilize the cedi.
The costs were later moved off the central bank to @GhanaGOLDBOD!
Not a pure failure but an expensive trade-off for economic stability.
“Whoever went to report us to the Rent Control Department, you’ve done yourself more damage than good. I promise you, whatever disgrace you’ve gone to bring upon us, you’ll pay for it for the rest of your life. No anointing will change it. Whoever went to report us will really suffer.”
- Caretaker of Hallelujah Hostel at Koforidua Technical University, reacting after the Rent Control Commissioner inspected the facility.
How can you send such a VN to someone who has paid you for a service that you didn’t render on the agreed date? She wasn’t even being rude in the text?
Welcome to NFP week!
Monday: ISM Manufacturing PMI (10am). There's going to be a lot volatility, so look for some good trading opportunities.
Then it's dead in the middle.
Tue-Thu completely dry, and it'll probably be slow and choppy as everyone waits on Friday.
Friday is the big one: Non-Farm Payrolls at 8:30am, with Unemployment Rate and Average Hourly Earnings dropping right alongside it.
This is one of the biggest releases of the month and it can move the market hundreds of points in seconds.
So be careful, and ALWAYS use a stop loss.
The next big thing to happen💯
In the years to come MTN will just be a stock with moderate growth but MOMO will be the stock with exponential growth to print money when listed.
I made a video on this to be released tomorrow on Youtube.
