A single vehicle tractor trailer crash has occurred on 58 East in front of Danville Regional Airport. Expect delays during the morning commute as eastbound traffic is reduced to one lane. The driver was transported from the scene for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
#MissingPerson Danville Police are searching for 86 year-old Joyce Miller. She is an Alzheimer’s patient last seen on Summit Rd wearing a black jacket and blue pants. Anyone in the area please be on the lookout and call police if you may have seen her.

DPD had the pleasure to welcome the 2019 basketball Class 4A Virginia State Champions, the George Washington Eagles, back into Danville after a big victory over Louisa County. Congratulations Eagles!
