@CheckjoshFF@FanTeamOfficial Don’t get me wrong I love Olise as a Palace season ticket holder. He will be great value when fit. Also keep an eye out for Ahamada. Doing well pre-season for Palace in advanced positions and only £4.5m. May be an enabling option particularly if Zaha doesn’t re-sign for the club.
@HLTCO This happened to Palace in the Eze penalty incident against West Ham. Ref blew for the pen as the ball was subsequently kicked into the net and didn’t allow the advantage. It didn’t matter as the pen was scored but if VAR had overturned it we would have lost the ensuing goal.
@lateriser12@SkontoRigga@FFScout You can see in this video of the pen/aftermath that Zaha (11) is on the left hand edge of the penalty area and is slightly limping/treading carefully on his right leg: he moves very gingerly when going to celebrate the goal with Eze and his teammates.
@lateriser12@SkontoRigga@FFScout On the Palace pen which Eze took, I would urge caution as to whether he is now the primary taker. I was at Selhurst Park yesterday and Zaha’s knock was significant. He was stretching out his leg at the side during VAR review and this looked like a factor in him not taking it.
@maxrushden@guardian_sport@JohnBrewin_@_JordanJBryan@bglendenning Thoughts on the member of the Ghana backroom staff taking a selfie with a weeping Son, directly after South Korea’s defeat? How would you characterise this behaviour: amusingly brazen or downright inappropriate?
@CPFC@JoshNorris another one for the minimalist crest change collection (all that has changed is the detail around the year of the club’s formation, based on a somewhat bold claim that we (Palace) are now the oldest league club still playing professional football)…
@barneyronay@Zonal_Marking Speaking of cars, I think there are further marketing opportunities here for Newcastle. Perhaps if they buy Pablo Sarabia and get sponsored by Audi they could bring out an Audi Sarabia range? Would be the perfect complement to the new away shirt.
