The effect of the SHIF deductions effected in the October payslips on salaried employees have caused mental and financial distress of unimaginable proportions because many survive pay check to pay check.

The worst part is that the Ministry of Health is now telling Kenyans that if you want extra benefits beyond what is provided for by the benefits package and SHIF then you are free to buy private cover to seek your needs. Why defraud Kenyans of their hard earned monies ? #shifscam
