Congrats to @USC_Baseball on eliminating Aggy.
Reminder that the last time @TAMU won a national championship in any major men's sport was in 1939 as Hitler was invading Poland.
87 years of irrelevance.
Generational irrelevance.

Day 1 of asking @LAGovJeffLandry@LSU and @HSchroyer to give Jay Johnson the money he deserves
(The coach that’s won two rings in the last three years at LSU’s most prestigious program)
Will Wade met with NC State officials Wednesday evening as they made their pitch to keep the coach in Raleigh, source confirms.
The sides did not immediately agree on terms for Wade to remain at NC State, making a return to LSU feel imminent.
LSU would be willing to negotiate a settlement of Wade‘s buyout with NC State to avoid this lingering another week when the buyout drops by $2 million.
As of Thursday morning, Wade has not signed a formal agreement to return to LSU. That could happen as soon as today, source confirms.
As we previously reported, Heath Shroyer joining the LSU administration is a non-negotiable condition of Wade’s return. Expect that announcement before a formal announcement regarding Wade.
LSU would also have to formally announce Matt McMahon‘s firing before announcing Wade. McMahon has not yet been informed that he won’t be retained. As we reported Wednesday, should a deal with Wade not be completed, McMahon would return for a fifth season.

Sources: LSU is working to hire McNeese's Heath Schroyer as a Senior Administrator.
The Tigers' head coaching job is not open, but LSU President Wade Rousse & Schroyer both previously hired NC State's Will Wade at McNeese & are on the verge of bringing him back to Baton Rouge.
