Kitchen Hack
I know you have had rice that has been frozen or refrigerated and you needed it to get warm in time for you to eat with the buka stew that you have abi it’s even jollof rice that you froze.
One thing you can do is put a saucer in your pot, add water then place food.
In a ceramic bowl plate or flat plate on the saucer inside the pot. Leave it on the lowest heat possible, cover and watch it get nice and fluffy for your hot stew.
Now if for any reason your rice is in a plastic plate, please keep your food out to defrost/thaw a bit before
The best thing you can do for yourself is having pepper based mix in your freezer. You can prepare a wide variety of meals just by having this in your freezer. It also saves time too..

The best way that has worked for me for saving is to cut cost and do more meal prepping and planning. Especially if you’re trying to generate income, funny coming from someone who actually runs a food business. Learn how to cook meals till you can afford enough to spend on food.

But you’re weeping because of onions😂.
Well next time, quickly put your onions in the freezer for about 10-15 before cutting and please use a sharp knife too. This will help reduce your weeping. Your joy will surely come in the morning.

Note: If you have a mom like mine please add your greens once you turn off the fire and stir it into the sauce to incorporate and give freshness to the meal. Watch them sleep well after the meal.
You can serve this with boiled yam, rice or plantain or their roasted counterparts. You can even serve with potatoes, it goes well with anything but don’t use swallow 😭😭😭😭🙇🏽🙇🏽🙇🏽
Allow these to fry for about 10minutes stirring occasionally.
4) Add your dry fish, your pinch of salt and a teaspoon of crayfish (this is just for flavor) and stir occasionally
5)Turn off after 15mins and your sauce is ready.
1) Heat palm oil on low heat
2) Add onions and minced ginger to oil and allow to fry on low heat for 5mins
3) Add your pepper and keep frying on low heat(The low heat prevents the aromatics and pepper from burning)
