@DeleMomodu I have known you for your uncompromising principles and I can attest to your unflinching loyalty to Nigeria, our beloved country. Your altruistic and patriotic aspirations shall be the reason for the positive swing of the pendulum.
We shall all be proud again as Nigerians.
@DeleMomodu A soul lifting piece from you!
We are all fighting to redeem the image of our beloved country.
You have shown uncommon courage even at a time of a national despair.
We believe that justice shall prevail despite the present situation where the executive arm has captured all.
I feel so related to this story (I think you will too):
It’s 1957, we're in Thailand:
Monks are moving a clay statue of Buddha to another temple,
One of the monks accidentally notices a crack on the clay statue,
On a closer look, he sees a golden light shining through the crack,
Using a hammer and a chisel, he chips away layers of clay to discover the source of the shine, and...
The more he proceeds, the more he can't believe what’s before his eyes;
The statue is, in fact, made of pure gold!
Flashback to hundreds of years ago:
The temple is under attack,
The monks are concealing the golden Buddha with clay to protect it from the enemy's eyes and hands.
------
Every monk had been killed back then, so no one knew about the treasure hidden under the clay for hundreds of years, until a crack made it exposed.

This story's symbolism mirrors our own life journeys, and
It is about you too; If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions:
- What is my “why?”
- What if I’m never good at it?
- What if I get rejected by people?
- Where do I start looking for my passion?
Let’s find answers in your past—when you were a child:
Children usually:
- Are more honest
- Have pure intents
- Live in the moment
- Don’t fear judgments
- Don’t have self-criticism
- And are simply curios and teachable
But those same children go through years of:
- False parental conditioning,
- Trying to fit in circles,
- Formal education,
- Media's influence,
- Society's trends,
This is a war that’s caused you to add layers and layers of clay to your true golden self to avoid damages.
We all, to some extent, are doing this.
But years have passed and we've forgotten the real reason why we're doing it:
It’s protection!
We’ve created this layers to shield ourselves from eyes and hands of the outside world:
- We’ve covered our feelings so no one could judge us.
- We’ve refused to talk to that person so they couldn’t reject us.
- We haven’t started acting on our dreams so failure would be further from us.
It’s the most reasonable thing to do, THEY’ve told us.
The fact is, IT IS protecting our lives from failure, criticism, judgment, and rejection but at a high cost:
Stagnation!
Deep down, we’re always telling ourselves that things are not the way they could be.
We’ve stopped moving forward so long ago, we can’t even remember what it feels like to be somewhere else other than where we are.
We feel safe here, but not content.
But, remember, there’s always going to be a crack in this clay; a light emitting from it.
If you’re still reading, you’ve seen this light, and you’re searching for a hammer to start breaking through.
The steps?
- The first one is acknowledgement.
Acknowledgement is you noticing the crack.
You need to acknowledge that there’s a treasure inside you, but it is COVERED by all those fears and self-doubts.
- The second is self-love.
Whether your layer of clay is fear, doubt, low confidence, or anything that’s stopped you; you’re not alone.
Everyone has these traits.
Don’t hate yourself because of them.
After all, they’ve protected you all these years from the world and it’s worked!
- The third is being willing to change.
Not being yourself has saved you from many troubles, but you know what?
You can change this and not only survive but also become a superhuman—one who is free to do what they wish and still get more from life.
Understand that nothing can change your situation until, deep down, you want that change more than anything.
- The forth is action.
Now you’re completely ready to unleash your true self.
Starting from now; do anything that you think can be progress, no matter how small it is.
Don’t know where to start? Try this:
- Meditate/Exercise to reflect on yourself,
- Read and write more to know yourself,
- And observe to learn about the world,
Then, combine your gained knowledge from these three, to know what your authentic self should do in order to regain strength.
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
Remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be.
I know it's been a long time, but take this as a sign, a moment of realization to begin your journey towards becoming a person who is free, confident, and can attain what they desire.
This time, you’re doing it with enough knowledge, so the growth will be exponential.

@segalink It's obvious that agents of the oppressors are working hard to see that the oppressed do not get emancipated. Who cares about the views of a man who referred to Buhari as a born again democrat. Keep up with your impecunious job of perpetuating enslavement.
You spoke well, sir!

Dear Nigerian Military,
Tomorrow will mark a watershed day in the history of the country and the peoples you swore to defend.
We, your fathers, your brothers, your sisters, your wives, your children, your girlfriends, your husbands, your childhood friends, your area paddies, are asking you to consider your actions tomorrow very carefully, because they will affect us, you and the entire country.
A drug dealer, identity thief - we don't even know his real name, certificate forger, corrupt thief of government resources, a taxman of biblical proportions and thorough CRIMINAL has bought, killed, maimed and stolen his way into the presidency of our country.
He is NOT as CONSTITUTIONALLY qualified as MOST of you to lead the country.
Unlike you, who have no divided loyalties, he has sworn fealty to the Republic of Guinea and has their diplomatic passport, in addition to his Nigerian one. Recent revelations also suggest that he may be an American citizen too. He is not LOYAL to Nigeria, unlike you.
What then qualifies such a foreigner to give orders that you must obey, especially order to suppress or harm your fellow Nigerians.
A black man who is quick to declare war on his African brothers because of òyìnbó interests, is that one a general to follow into battle, or a mentally enslaved nincompoop?
A man who didn't even go to primary or secondary school, and stole his university degree, is he fit to order men trained in the proud tradition of the Nigerian military services?
I want you to consider these questions as you receive your orders tomorrow. Your actions will make or break Nigeria.
Choose wisely.
B.O.G.
Truth is an open wound. How shall we apply this plaster without gangrene wasting a future of promise. The answer is not blowing in the wind but are wind gusts against the Souls of those who let their conscience get seated. Tomorrow is pregnant with a new Nigeria no mater what
