See, looks matter when you're trying to convey something. Aura, presence, etc.
Now compare the two actors quoted below (David Jonsson and Suzy Bemba), who are about to portray Toussaint (his son and the stand-in for T'Challa) and allegedly Storm, with these two images I provided, and tell me you don't see a difference in vibe.
Keep in mind that, in the comics, T'Challa and Storm have both been described as exceptionally handsome and beautiful, respectively.
Acting skills are important, but so are looks when casting certain characters.
I am also noticing that some Black people are purposely setting the bar low for what they consider handsome and beautiful for some unknown reason. At some point I want to dive into that aspect.
Lastly, and I gotta say this, the community that attacked the Recast T'Challa group for not being happy with the casting of David Jonsson is suddenly annoyed at the idea of Suzy Bemba playing Storm because she's not beautiful enough.
So they understand it with Storm, but not with Toussaint. I have no plans on watching the movie anyway, but I just wanted to point this out since my timeline is nothing but this.
The weekend is over and it’s time to be honest…….Sadie Sink was completely miscast as Jean Grey.
Not only is she just playing Max with superpowers but she’s also completely out of place.
The main villain of a Spider-Man movie should never be an X-Men member. 🤷
