@capnleela not ideal, but I've planted things to maximize the sun we get - blackberry, scarlet runners, hops twined up to our 2nd floor balcony; going vertical with raspberries, peas, later corn - & lots of stuff in pots on our stairway like squash, tomatoes.

Ok, I'm joining mastodon again, since so many of the communities I'm interested in are here. For the past few years I've been pretty much Matrix/Signal only, and I need to practice living publicly, without being a corporate serf.
Their cloud platform for pushing delta updates and monitoring nodes and services seems like a big accelerator. My use-case doesn't generate enough revenue to pay for their platform when scaled up tho.
Testing host OSes and container runtimes for edge devices. Ruled out #k3s (👆idle CPU usage), #armbian (stale host pkgs).
Docker-compose seems solid, and a host OS based on either @AlpineLinux or @yoctoproject. About to test @balena_io, wary of lockin. Any experiences?
