How Israel Safeguards Freedom of Worship for Christians, Muslims, and Jews in an Environment of Constant Friction

Jerusalem is home to approximately 1,050,000 residents. Of these, around 600,000 are Jewish and roughly 400,000 are Arab.

Yesterday, we -Israeli ambassadors and diplomats - toured Jerusalem to gain a deeper understanding of the city’s complexity.

Drove out of #Liberville to an agricultural project which has a promising potential for @MASHAVisrael cooperation in #Gabon. We met the PM agricultural counselor and toured the chicken houses, fish ponds & and agricultural instruction facility @IsraelMFA @IsraelinCM @@MATCShefayim

In #Liberville we had engaging conversation with H.E. Nadine Nathalie Awanang, Minister of Social Affairs of #Gabon. We shared @MASHAVisrael ‘s vast experience, promoting &supporting community resilience around the 🌍 &offered venues for cooperation #SDG11 @IsraelMFAIsraelMFA @MCTC_Haifa @IsraelinCM

Die Botschaft war gestern durch Konsul @HerzelEdri bei der Eröffnung der Ausstellung "Code Name Mary: Das außergewöhnliche Leben von Muriel Gardiner" des @FreudMusLondon, erweitert durch @univienna, am Campus der Universität Wien vertreten.

Die Amerikanerin Muriel Gardiner war in Wien im Widerstand gegen die Nazis aktiv und verhalf u.a. verfolgten Juden zur Flucht, bis sie Ende 1938 selbst flüchten musste.

Wir danken den Kurator*innen Herbert Posch, Markus Stumpf und Julia Brandstätter für die Einladung.
