@Harrisbro777 Significant misunderstanding of how the world economic system works. Whether its priced in Euros or $$ doesn't matter. The entire system works on the world reserve currency and a country needs to be willing to sustain a significant trade deficit. That's not Europe.

@hkuppy Why do you assume that the US military is incapable of opening Hormuz? The US military has been preparing for this for some 40 years. In the 1980s, Iran tried to close the straight and the US forced it open. Once they open Hormuz and they take Kharg, its game over for Iran.

@au79alpha @zerohedge Crypto is a pipe dream. First if all, it's a very poor substitute for money as it's very volatile and there are significant transaction costs. Secondly, it has no inherent value (fiat currencies are accepted by govs so do have value).

@au79alpha @zerohedge Well, apparently the dollar markets are screaming this is not a concern. Dollar is breaking out against almost all currencies and especially against Asian currencies. Iran has already been accepting yuan and it doesn't matter.
