Hallet answered this in essense at a forum.
He said he has a thirds approach
1/3 goes to infastructure
1/3 savings
1/3 back into the squad
So if fee is 4m then speculate 1.33m would top up the budget.

Whatever fee we get though, we need to be realistic. Kone left Wycombe for around a reported 3m+ add ons. only had a season for league football behind him. tolly has 2 seasons in the league, 3.75m is probs just an initial fee if there is any truth to it

Watching Tolaj struggle towards the end certainly had me puckered.
Maybe, with out versitility at the back, CB shouldnt be priotised. Dont get me wrong, CB is needed but also adding Ralls going off early, maybe a experienced CM and ST on loan may be sensible #pafc

A different style of striker needed. Clearly short there
Agree we need CB reinforcments cus we've, overall, been dire there. But id also expect the loan spots to be filled to provide depth #pafc

This could be the difference between Rooney and Cleverly.

Injuries or not. The team aren't playing for TC. Clearly lack disapline consistently. Its clearer than ever that TC isnt the one for this job.

Realisation hit today. We've got Tolaj until at least until the end of the season, even if there is interest in him in January. Players can be registered with 3 clubs per season but can only play official games for 2 of them. Nice not to worry about losing someone in Jan #pafc
