@RoyalMail I havenโt seem anyone delivering post (letters) to my postcode for at least 2 weeks. We regularly see parcel deliveries, but do you not consider letters important any more? I am waiting for 2 very important letters! #NotGoodEnough
@joshy145s @trucklifegb I do when coiling strap, but other drivers donโt, the only benefit I can ever see is that it reduced the total length you have to coil by a meter or so. Definitely get them tighter without the starting loop
@trucklifegb I spent my teenage years in Boston, was a pain driving back to visit family once I moved to Bristol, and cannot imaging driving a truck up there!
@trucklifegb I noticed they changed 5e โheightโ detection equipment signs to โweightโ detection equipment signs a couple of weeks ago, but now it makes sense why.
@trucklifegb I always love going in there. Quiet and everything I need. Shame we wonโt be able to use it from end of next month .

@trucklifegb I get something needs to be done, but canโt they hurry up with the M4 bridge? Today there were delays of 45 minutes on the POW bridge, and I saved 41 minutes by going over the Severn bridge.
@trucklifegb Glad you arenโt doing it yourself! What do they use? Does water and cleaning liquid actually clean it? Clearly a chemical tanker wouldnโt then go and carry food products, but Iโm not sure I would want milk from an orange juice trailer.
@trucklifegb This is so timely! I was only asked how tanker trailers are washed out in the last week or so - and I had no idea - I still donโt. How does it work??
@petchelli @DAFtMarkS That makes no sense. Google Maps is not a truck sat nav.
But if planners are also route planning this may not be a bad things. But what happens when a road is closed and they have not planned a diversion?
@trucklifegb What is the purpose of the left and right down straps? We only do the cross straps (and at the back add two pallets on their side and ratchet strapped to the trailer to stop any movement.
@mrmmillar @trucklifegb If it is strapped anything like us, the front 6 pallets are cross strapped every 2 and the remainder are done each pallet so no need for straps across the top. Means loading is done with us on the back, but secures the load.
