I like learning new things and having fun ๐ฅ
I enjoy programming, art, music, movies, anime, reading, writing.
Feel free to check my YT channel for my music.
@HowtoADHD To add, I think the reason it didn't bother me in school was because I had that urgency and accountability. I don't remember much from my childhood except for a short temper.
I also have a very vivid imagination that is turned on when music is played. If that counts
@HowtoADHD I'm undiagnosed, getting diagnosis is really outside of my mother's budget.
In school I didn't show symptoms besides midnight homework. Now that I'm out, I am starting to see new symptoms and I'm relating to Reddit ADHD posts a lot.
Any advice?

@HowtoADHD Sometimes feel rushed. Simple tasks sometimes are like large chores.
Sometimes catch myself jumping to different topics in writing and conversations.
When distracted and I go back to my task, I'm less likely to finish it.

Those were some of the symptoms I've noticed so far.
@HowtoADHD I forget sometimes that I am listening to something, I get distracted and need to rewind.
Sometimes it feels like everything is either too fast or slow.
I can spend a whole day doing one thing.
I sometimes have to do things twice because I either rush or I miss a step.
@HowtoADHD I rely on urgency most of the time to get things done. ("Now or not now")
I can feel so excited to do something tomorrow morning, but unless I have a reminder, I'm not going to be interested in it tomorrow morning.
I find it hard to sleep in silence. Hence I leave my fan on.
@HowtoADHD I constantly ruminate. Sometimes keeping me up past midnight.
There are times when I feel like doing things, but I end up just sitting and doing nothing.
Sometimes I do things unaware that I'm doing them, like fidgeting or talking for too long.
Short tasks, last for hours.
@HowtoADHD Here's what I have experienced so far:
I have started many hobbies, I do them for a week or two, then I kinda get bored and drop them.
I get sad or frustrated easily (RSD) which either melts me, or disappears in 5 minutes.
I have a hard time starting tasks and finishing them.
@robertoblake I guess, but I think it depends on a person's preference. YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels both offer short content, but TikTok is like a one-stop place for only short videos. :)
Have a great weekend ahead :)
@MsSaraRobinson@ADHDdesigner How often do you check your journal to tick off tasks; and do you write the following day's plan at night or in the morning?
Many videos I've come across mention about checking in with the journal only twice, morning and night, and writing the next day's schedule at night.
@BrycePosey5@H1ghSKy1 Assuming that number is in picoseconds, you were 2 years old in 2005.
Assuming that the sum of all digits (e.g., 123 = 1 + 2 + 3 = 6) is in weeks, you were 870 weeks (or 16 years) old in 2005.
