Yesterday we seized stock from three businesses on Princes Street which were obstructing the footway. This confiscation came after repeated warnings.
We'll continue to enforce the rules and make sure our footways are clear and accessible for all.

This morning (not pictured) I was nearly reversed into by a lifted Ford Raptor.
@NewcastleCC when will you deal with this situation? If it's a worksite, fence it off. If not, prevent this behavior.

Update the quality cycle infrastructure on Leith Walk has been made less safe by CEC at Balfour Street tram stop headed north.
Caution needed as buffer now so slim there is little wiggle room for error. Hate to think what would happen if motor vehicles moving and clip the kerb.

There are now 4,400 people waiting for a spot in a secure cycle hangar in Edinburgh - that figure has grown by nearly 1,000 in just the last year.
My map of hangars and demand can be found here: https://t.co/uXfjRLiMU3
There are 1,500 people who have made a request for a hangar on their street and 2,900 people who are on a waiting list for an existing hangar.
Only 1,200 spots are currently provided - the same as last year despite promises to increase the number:https://t.co/X2glEb20U1

@PidginPosting The best example of this was someone claiming that because there are as many cars as households in Edinburgh, that means that 100% of households have a car.
(It's actually only 60%, because some households have more than one car...)
