@SouthernRailUK I notified you within half an hour of it missing, was tracking it travelling up and down the country, and after being passed around at Victoria like a fart in the wind I finally get an answer that you can’t help and it’s lost. Absolutely disgraceful. 💔 4/4
@SouthernRailUK I lost it on 26 May. The first email response I got was 7 July, it having died on 23 June. On 18 July, you responded saying the station manager at Littlehampton made an enquiry on the 13th. OF JULY. What?? They waited for seven weeks before checking the train?? 3/
@SouthernRailUK In that time, I made 10-15 phone calls to you, spoke to about 6 staff members in person, emailed screenshots from FindMy of the exact location of the iPad with a description (hiding in a folded table as I nearly missed my unannounced stop). 2/
@SouthernRailUK Appalled by your lost property response, especially by Littlehampton Station. My iPad sat on a train in the depot for a whole month before the battery died. 1/2
@RishiSunak Why are you punishing offenders. Anyone who’s properly looked into this knows it doesn’t work and rehabilitation is always the more effective and kinder route.
