From Southport to Belfast, we keep seeing the same pattern: a terrible crime, followed by racist mobs attacking black and brown people who had nothing to do with it.
These are pogroms.
The politicians and media figures who spent years demonising migrants and inflaming racial hatred have blood on their hands.
We must stand together against this hatred and organise against this fascism.
“Lack of education, ignorance and, judging by the graffiti plastered in unionist districts, semi-literate stupidity all play a part, but so does lack of leadership from unionist politicians”

Huge respect to the wider Irish community who helped defend and provide support to the several perceived migrant families targeted in Belfast last night.
Shame on the right-wing agitators and politicians who encouraged such intimidation and violence.
A child being rushed from a burning building by a riot police officer into a police landrover as everything goes up in flames.
I hope those who fanned the flames are content with themselves. Because they knew this violence was coming. You can't light the touch paper and expect us to believe you when you walk away and say "how awful".
How some politicians in Northern Ireland have conducted themselves in the last days, months and years has in huge part contributed to this. Absolutely disgusting.
Northern Ireland was dubbed the "UK's most dangerous place to be a woman" just two months ago.
30 women have been violently killed since 2020.
An Irish man murdered his pregnant girlfriend and left her facedown in a dog bowl as a final humiliation
Where were the rioters then?
A 72 year old man was savaged stabbed to death in his home in Dungannon last year.
There was no rampaging gangs "protecting their communities".
Guess why?
Because the victim was polish and the murderer was a "local" man.
These aren't concerned citizens they're racists.
This is loyalism, this is the right wing, this is fascism! Any Irish person who stands with them, remember they have consistently burnt out Irish citizens since the inception of the 6 county state, and they will be burning our country's flag on their bonfires in a cple of weeks!
.@ClaireHanna: "Last week, in a very high profile case, the murder of Natalie McNally, the judge.. talked about a frenzied knife attack, he talked about wounds so bad the cause of death was unable to to be determined. There were no riots over the perpetrator of that brutal crime"
I'm a white migrant to Northern Ireland. If I were a non-white migrant or born citizen here, working in health or social care, I would be seriously consider my future here. This is a crisis not just for the character of our society, but also for our core public services.
NEW Keir Starmer: "The scenes in Belfast last night were shocking and completely unacceptable. There is no justification for the violence and disorder that we saw threatening our communities, nor for those who encouraged it, online or elsewhere. It is clear that people were targeted last night because of their background and I will not tolerate it. Those responsible will feel the full force of the law.”

It should be noted all the Irish parts of Belfast remain quiet and calm and our new communities are safe and sound - all the trouble - as usual - is in the areas of Belfast populated by Scottish/British immigrant planters whose ancestors invaded Ireland and stole our land.
Mehdi Hasan on the Belfast attack,
"As far as we know this person was here legally as someone who was approved by the then Conservative government"
"He's from Sudan. Most people would agree people fleeing from Sudan are genuine refugees"
"Whatever your politics we can agree there is a genocide going on in Sudan"
"That doesn't excuse the horrific crime that he committed, obviously"
"But the idea that we suddenly reduce this to illegal immigration"
"And Elon Musk pushing this is absurd, because Musk was an immigrant to the Unites States"
"His own brother claimed that they were both illegal immigrants at one point"
"People exploiting this for political gain.. Making everything about immigration.. Like the murder of Henry Nowak"
"The person who killed Henry Nowak was born in Britain. His father was born in Britain. But that's been made an immigration story as well"
Dress it up however you like - this racist violence has been deliberately whipped up by far right politicians & their cowardly wannabes in the supposed mainstream.
You are either fighting against the anti-migrant narrative or you are with these thugs.
Domestic violence rates in Northern Ireland are VERY high, one in five of all recorded crimes.
A streamer from NI was recently jailed for brutally murdering his pregnant girlfriend. He left her face down in a dog bowl.
No riots
Remember this as the far right mobs assemble.
"He is obsessed with finding these cases where he can then amplify far right voices."

Mehdi Hasan slams Elon Musk, "He is obsessed with finding these cases where he can then amplify far right voices"
"He doesn't just do it in England with Tommy Robinson, he does it in German with the AfD, obviously he does it in the US with Twitter"
Victoria Derbyshire, "What is he seeking to do?"
Mehdi Hasan, "He's seeking to embolden some of the worst far right voices in the Western world"
"That's why he's funding so many people all over the place"
"This is his agenda. It's a very racist agenda. We see that in the US with the Republican party"
"Elon Musk amplifies some of the most neo-nazi voices on Twitter"
"You can take the boy out of apartheid South Africa, can you take apartheid South Africa out of the boy?"
