@marinad307 I don’t think Disney needs to try to stay relevant since they are such a massive corporation. I think that from a company standpoint this is a good move #educ307#lesson11
@marinad307 I think this is a bit overboard. I believe that he would only be “disrespecting his marriage” if his interactions and relationship with his coworkers are inappropriate #lesson10#educ307
Lesson 11 has been my favorite by far this semester. I learned so much through the Disney documentary and honestly don’t think I can ever see any of their movies the same way! #educ307#lesson11
@AmandaLaliberte I think that the only true good use of their platforms was when Kim used her “status” to help get a woman out of prison and get the attention of the president #educ307#lesson10
@VictoriaWoo9 the same applies to when you walk into a luxury car dealership. there is always without fail a really pretty receptionist at the front desk #educ307#lesson10
@AmandaKwasibor1 I agree! I really don't think that the movement would have had the same effect and power without social media behind it! #educ307#lesson10
@KailaMcWilliam1 I think this happens when your account is public even for the shortest of time. I did not think it could happen to a private account #educ307#lesson9
Regarding the incident posted for lesson 9 I think that in this case the border agents should have been permitted to request the password for the device, considering it was being requested for security purposes #educ307#lesson9
Funny how shortly after tweeting about digital privacy a promoted add shows up on my time line about "protecting your data" #foodforthought#educ307#lesson9
I think that in the school environment keeping tabs on student's activity on the computer is no different than having security cameras in the schools to make sure they stay safe #educ307#lesson9
As schools has a responsibility to ensure that their students are safe, I do not think that tracking their work on the computer is a violation of their privacy. If they were tracking the students outside of school then that would be a different story! #educ307#lesson9
This is a really interesting point. I have a photographic memory as well and could always remember handwritten color coordinated notes better than typed. Thought I was just crazy 😂😂
@educ307cassm I would say it depends on the person. For me, it's great because I have a photographic memory but can't memorize typed font. I imagine it is beneficial to other visual learners as well.
I read an article once that stated that highlighting when taking notes is absolutely useless in terms of helping you remember things 🧐 #educ307#lesson8
According to the chapter on ethics I think that what you post on social media isn’t really public. Considering the that you’re putting the information out there for everyone to see #educ307#lesson8
I personally prefer to print out my research papers, and write notes by hand as I read along. I usually end up also doing my outline by hand #educ307#lesson8
Out of curiosity do you guys prefer to print and read out your research papers so you can write notes on them? Or do you just read them on your computer? #educ307#lesson8
