Mr. Steele “tortoise” all about amphibians yesterday! Biscuit, an African Spurred Tortoise, visited the middle school science lab so that students were able to learn about biodiversity! We are so thankful for our teachers who go above and beyond to make learning fun!
Our kindergartners are celebrating Earth Day in a mighty way! They brainstormed different ways that can care for our Earth, including picking up trash in the park, throwing away trash in the recycling bin, giving away old toys for others to play with, and planting new trees.
Congratulations to the following young men on making the middle school boys basketball team:

We’ve got some kindergarten friends in the AUTHOR’S CHAIR this week! Mrs. Graham’s students got to sit in the author’s chair and read their published journal piece to the class! They did an awesome job and were so proud of their work! Way to go kindergarten!#excellencetogether
Don’t be surprised if you see Cornerstone student art in a museum one day. How awesome are these drawings from our high school art class?! They created realistic hand drawings of their hand holding an object that represents one of our five character pillars.
And just like that, tennis season has come to an end! I am so happy that God put these young ladies at Cornerstone Schools of Alabama in my life and allowed me to coach and mentor them over the last few months. Go Lady Eagles!
Today our room was ✨transformed ✨into a SCIENCE LAB as students continued in our unit on light and sound. We wore protective goggles and recorded our observations like real scientists! 🧪🔬🩺 #makelearningfun@educateBHAM
