If a Y1 class were not taught to ‘count within 100, forwards and backwards, starting with any number’ before school closures, would you go straight into ‘add and subtract within 100’ (as Y2s)?
No? What about if they didn’t finish their phonics programme is Y1 or Y2? 🤔
