Today third grade completed The Bird Beak Lab. The Bird Beak Lab is a hands-on activity that shows students how different bird beak shapes are adapted to their feeding habits and environments.

After reading, we worked on describing characters! Our STEM challenge for today was to design a disguise for the swan to sneak by the predators and get home.

CREATIVE CLOSURE ACTIVITIES‼️‼️‼️
Snowstorm: Students write down what they learned on a piece of scratch paper and wad it up. Given a signal, they
throw their paper snowballs in the air. Then each learner picks up a nearby response and reads it aloud.

First graders at PC are currently working on a sound unit! Today, we learned about Wasilly Kandinsky (he was an artist who could hear color and see sound 🤯).

Students created artwork based on a what they thought a specific sound would depict.
