Ultimately at the end of the day I think we can have a more nuanced discussion other than “direct sucked ass” or “no direct was good your wrong stupid!” Why can’t we just together and have nice quality discussions on gaming rather than spewing hatred at each other.

I think realistically if you only own a switch 2, the direct had quite a few announcements for both first & 3rd party support that are pretty cool! And with Switch 2 being the cheapest atm in terms of modern level console prices yeah I could see more people going to 3rd party-

Rhythm Heaven & I know I’m getting Starfox, but seeing the new Fire Emblem priced at 80$ physically hinders my interest in getting it somewhat and Idk if I’ll get Splatoon Raider cause I’m still just burnt out on splatoon as a whole, I haven’t even played 3’s dlc yet.
