Who wants 3 tickets to Guns n Roses in Tallinn this Monday in Golden Circle? Also, a 5* hotel booked. Unfortunately, I cannot go... #GunsNRoses #goldencircle #tickets

@beoplay ...and third is that I have to be on the same wifi network, while Spotify Connect worked in a way, that did not require to be in the same network after pairing the device with Beoplay A9. 2/2

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@beoplay Neither Airplay, nor Chromecast Audio dongle is nowhere close to a workaround. First, Airplay skips, chromecast sounds much worse than built-in support ...1/2

Spotify is preparing for IPO in a weird way — by turning off its connectivity on expensive devices. Like Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A9 mk1. @Spotify @beoplay https://t.co/PlpBKBcGDU

comedydave_ Hey Dave. As we look to improve the overall Spotify experience, we are removing the app from Beoplay A9 v1. There's more info here: https://t.co/SwkktAo7KA /K

@beoplay @SpotifyCares is apparently not aware of this?

Can we get an official statement from the both of you?

@Spotify / @SpotifyCares & @beoplay

It's a speaker costing around $2.600, only 4 years old.
Bring it back?Given the major plus Spotify Connect gives @beoplay product range?

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@SpotifyCares Done!

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@SpotifyCares Of course. Restarted and even tried to change wifi networks

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@SpotifyCares Of course.

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@SpotifyCares I checked all of the above. Also, I did rebooting and resetting to default settings on BeoPlay A9. Beoplay is visible within “Devices Available” as Spotify Connect device and within Airplay devices. Playing via Airplay works fine, but not via Spotify Connect.

[Jevgenijs Djugajevs @edugaev]

@SpotifyCares Spotify Connect recently stopped working with my BeoPlay A9. Rebooting, changing wifi networks did not help. Same result from Spotify for Mac and Spotify for iPhone. Is it something you can help with or Bang & Olufsen?
