I knew I wanted a dark and dreamy sound for Strange Charm. However, I didn't quite know in which direction I wanted to take my songwriting. I started to listen to advice, and what a horrible can of worms that is.

Everyone knew what I should and shouldn't be doing, or so it seemed. Write this, write that, do this, do that, work with him, work with them, write a dance track, write a funny track, collaborate, collaborate, collaborate. Every single piece of advice I got said more or less the same thing, I should be doing something else. But that mysterious 'something else' was different depending on who you spoke to.
