This morning, I had the honour of receiving Emmanuel Adjei; known globally as Bike2MyRoots at the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
Emmanuel, a young Ghanaian sports medicine professional based in Germany, recently completed a 10,000 km solo cycling journey from Munich to Accra across 15 countries. His mission? To raise funds for rural education in Ghana. With sheer determination, he raised over $20,000 and €6,000 for the cause, in partnership with EduSpots.
His story is a powerful reminder of what patriotism, resilience, and purpose can achieve. I commend Emmanuel for inspiring a new generation to stay active, dream bigger, and give back.
We discussed future collaborations to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles across Ghana and I encouraged him to document his incredible journey into a book and documentary that could inspire generations and support even more communities.
This is not just about cycling. It’s about legacy. 🇬🇭✨
