So disappointed with Amazon’s failure to deliver my Xbox Series X. Ordered as orders went live in September and now 2 days after launch it still hasn’t been dispatched and there is no update on if, never mind when, I will receive it!

To make matters worse I see amazon had more consoles in stock at midnight last night and those lucky people have already got their shipping notification. My order has disappeared from your system it seems. You have taken payment already though.

@AmazonHelp That’s totally unacceptable. I got an email on 8th November saying my console will arrive 10th November and now you telling me that I don’t have a console allocated! I could have ordered from anywhere else and got one on launch day!

@AmazonHelp Yes I’ve contacted Amazon and was told they’ve emailed the distribution centre for an update and someone will be in touch within 14 days to provide an update!

@XboxP3 @mattbooty Congrats on the Xbox Series X reveal. Please can you ensure that it supports HDMI-CEC so that it can automatically switch HDMI inputs. It bugs my that the Xbox One X doesn’t do that. Thanks.

Congratulations to Isabelle and George who both competed in the RAF Benson Cross Country meet this weekend. Isabelle came 1st and George 10th and they should both be proud of their efforts. Well done also to Millie, who ran as the hare in their race. :)

An excellent start to the day with our Pre Prep running in the MECE County Cross Country event this morning. Some excellent results with Craven winning her race and James finishing third in a tense finish. 🥇🥉🥳

@BigJohnnyArcher Annoying TV doesn’t automatically detect an HLG HDR image from iPlayer & adjust settings automatically when you put it on Auto (does with HDR10 Xbox One X & PS4 Pro games). I don’t know why Sony hasn’t sorted this out as I assume the same problem occurs with the 2017/18 TVs?

@BigJohnnyArcher When I manually went into HDR settings options were HDR10, HLG or Off. HDR10 crushed the blacks & oversaturated colours but HLG was perfect.

@BigJohnnyArcher Ok so tried it on both the built in iPlayer app and PS4 Pro’s iPlayer and at first I thought it wasn’t working ok both (got 4K but no HDR) but then I tried going into the picture setting and manually turning on HLG and it worked! Stunning picture!

@BigJohnnyArcher Looking at the Sony website about their DV software update earlier this year it seems it should have HDR. Will check on the TV later. Appreciate your response. Thanks.
