@1big6fan@Simulatedinc Third party interceding here. Bill I think you were calling Kenny a bootlicker, but I believe Simulatedinc took it to be directed at him. Mostly a misunderstanding here. Shake?
@JRake_88@JBG4824@bobpockrass There will be in San Diego though. The rule is that if you're full time in a series, that is the only series you can run that weekend. RCR would have to ask for that rule to be waived due to an emergency situation, but the race is a month away, so not sure it would be granted.
@Ilikeracing3 @ACertainHOUfan @LiamClarke17_@rjmanalytics So, finishing thread, this is completely unofficial and can be entirely nonsensical. In addition, it penalizes drivers for coming out and making laps after a crash (not included in average vs. counted and slow) and is an average of 4 averages of most likely other averages.
@Ilikeracing3 @ACertainHOUfan @LiamClarke17_@rjmanalytics The season ranking is an average of the rankings of each race that season. Note: if a driver doesn’t run a green flag lap during a segment, that segment is not counted in their average. This leads to funky stats (like B.J. McLeod being the "fastest" car in the 500 this year).
@mearstalgia@NickBrincks@tyva90@horn_conor@DustinAlbino@bobpockrass You might be thinking of other rules. Wave arounds only began in 2009 when they went to double file restarts. Here is an excerpt of the interview with Robin Pemberton when they introduced this. Source: https://t.co/CejxjGFMbo
@Alberto96Alba@CollinBCook That was pretty different, as it was not driver error that caused it (flat tire), plus Starr was still on the lead lap when it happened. But similar result for the leader in the end.
@jasonsmith8161@CBird73936300 Of those, only Starpoli is valid. Cram has by far the worst car of the series, Bilicki is not that far off. Mayer ran top 10 in stage 1 and Sieg was top 10 mid stage 3 before they had car trouble, and CW showed the incident with Green during the race while he was on the lead lap.
