@matthewwinick Can you get the guy you want now? Or do you go with an assistant as the interim to keep a good roster together and go big game hunting after the season?
@TomFornelli We're a big event culture, group stage of a 48 team tournament is like the 1st round of NBA playoffs. When we get to game 3 of group stage and there are real stakes it will start to elevate, then when we get to knockout it will feel big
@hater3000000000@itsAntWright Anecdotal, but I see school kids playing soccer at recess a lot more often than you'd expect. It's plenty popular for us to excel with the amount of kids we have nationally. I don't know how you get seen without spending thousands these days, so agree there
@sportsrapport@JaredStillman My take is that college costs are going to become deflationary by the time your kids get there because the number of HS grads are going to be down 10%+ between now and then
@StudyStock@colossus_cap@MicroBerto Agent being paid on price have anything to do with that? These guys all work together and he probably sees the benefit of getting a good deal for you as not worth the risk of being seen as a low baller who makes it harder for the selling agent to get paid
@matthewwinick It's talked about in football but those salaries keep going up. The risks are 1) if you succeed your coach is gone if you don't bring him to or above market and 2) if you have a coach willing to work for below market, is he good enough for the strategy to work?
@matthewwinick@brauf33@basket_review You guys pegged this one pretty well. MSU was better on OREB as the game went on but they spotted Wis a 20 point lead by then
