@MassDailyNews Every single human being has the right to APPLY to come to the US and seek shelter. And we have the right as a sovereign state to deny them entry if we don't want them here, and to deport them if they come here illegally
In the last few weeks we have seen an oppressed people, forbidden from speaking out against their country's autocratic rulers or their deranged brand of radical Islam, rise up to take on the regime. In this trying but hopeful moment, my prayers are with the people of the UK.
@StandWithUs The Red Cross has always been eager to shirk its humanitarian responsibilities when Jews are involved. This current iteration is disgusting but unsurprising
@JDVance This is a very good start, thanks in no small part to the President's efforts to coordinate global pressure on Hamas. Hamas' refusal to accept all of the terms can be dealt with once the hostages are freed, and may actually give Israel and the US greater flexibility
@Keir_Starmer It's time for a no-confidence vote in the UK now. Jews are being attacked in their places of worship and young girls are being kidnapped and enslaved. Not only does Labour do nothing, but it imprisons those who rightly speak out against it. Starmer must be held to account
@thehill While Americans are being mugged and assaulted in the streets, Portland police can't help them for fear of punishment from the city council. Mobilizing the national guard is the only solution when the local government callously flouts its responsibility to keep its people safe
@thehill This is long overdue. He's an organized crime-affiliated wannabe revolutionary who came to power under dubious circumstances and is undermining our countries' shared national security interests
@ABC Good. In its current form, TikTok has long been used by foreign governments to manipulate and divide young Americans. Now it will no longer present a national security threat, and hopefully this move will be accompanied by a broader crackdown on content funded by enemy nations
@nypost This is another example of radicals misusing words for their own political ends. Nothing this woman did constitutes "violence" or "genocide," nor does it merit reference to lynchings. Using these words is an insult to those who have actually lived through these horrible events
@LeoTerrellDOJ Those idiots drew it backwards. Colleges have a responsibility to ensure their students adhere to basic values of integrity, rationality, humanity, and commitment to learning. Students who engage in such hateful and ignorant expression have no place in higher education
@business It's not going to happen. It would require unheard of coordination between all EU countries, and their economies are too dependent on Israeli tech anyway. This is just another case of performative activism by unpopular European leaders trying to distract from their own ineptitude
America has a serious problem with political violence. Today we lost Charlie Kirk, a man who embodied the principles of free speech and peaceful debate. May his memory be a blessing, and may we follow his lead and come together to reject radicalization and violence.
@EYakoby No public school should be receiving federal funding if they choose to use the authority that comes with it in such a disgraceful manner. Schools should be teaching children life skills and critical thinking, not bombarding them with partisan and anti-American propaganda
@TPCarney@benshapiro Our legal system, tax codes, and spending are all hardwired to make raising kids more challenging and financially unsustainable, all while funneling cash to seniors in an investment that will inevitably yield no returns for the country. Major adjustment is needed immediately
@thehill This is an interesting idea. It allows the government to continue supporting an industry vital to national security without resorting to costly corporate welfare. The state could then use its shareholder status as leverage to prevent Intel's best chips being exported to China
@StandWithUs The only way the BBC will ever be held accountable is if the British government accepts the failure of their experiment in state media and stops forcing British taxpayers to pay to keep the terrorist rag alive
@MassGovernor This is only half the story. Jobs for workers without college degrees are disappearing faster each year and high housing costs are driving people out of the state. Mass is at a high risk of stagflation if no action is taken to relax zoning and labor laws and diversify education
@business There's a legal standard in place for determining the country of origin of a product, and a whole class of experts and lawyers whose job it is to make that determination. Pretending that we can't impose tariffs because "it's too hard" is ludicrous
@BostonGlobe Other than the national debt increase there's not much to say about it. It was a routine spending bill (they happen every year) that trimmed some social programs in favor of defense, which was exactly what President Trump said he was going to do
