Great to be in Skipton recently, visiting Hearts Coffee and catching up with Edwin Rothwell.
We had a really positive discussion about the work of the Heart of Skipton CIC and the role it’s playing in bringing people together and driving forward regeneration in the town.
I’ll continue working with Edwin and others to ensure Skipton continues to thrive.
Great to be in Sutton-in-Craven meeting with Parish Council Chairman Cllr Stephen Morrell to talk road safety.
I heard directly about the concerns around progress on the Sutton Lane path project, as well as speeds on Holme Lane, following the tragic incidents that have affected the community.
I am grateful to the Parish Council and local North Yorkahire and Bradford Councillors for their work, and I’ll be pushing North Yorkshire and Bradford Councils to improve coordination and progress on road safety measures.
A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on the @ManchesterPride Parade this afternoon celebrating our ON IT #LoveConsent campaign with @GeorgeHouseTrst What a blast! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

It was my pleasure to support Skipton Pride this year, and what a brilliant event it was.
Congratulations to the organisers for bringing people together in the town centre and giving a boost to local businesses.
In the UK, the age of consent is 16 years old. As We Are Survivors celebrates its 16th birthday, we’re turning the conversation to consent. 2025 is our Year of Consent
We asked the staff team here at We Are Survivors “What does consent mean to you?” here is what they said. What does consent mean to you? Let us know in the comments
Our thanks to Tom Kelly for creating this insightful, powerful video
