@henrymoeranBBC Henry, I can see why scheduling an extra day is difficult for an entire series but as a starting point simply allow play to continue every day until 90 overs bowled. The extra half hour rule is ridiculous (even the ICC tacitly admit that because they get rid of it on day 5)

@icc if play can go on past 6.30pm on the last day of a Test why can’t it go past 6.30pm on the first 4 days? Why not play every day to the earlier of 90 overs and bad light/bad weather? If Test cricket is to survive you must respect the spectators more. @tmsproducer

@ICC it’s a glorious day in London. It’s your showpiece Test. And yet play will stop at 6pm and spectators won’t get 90 overs’ play. Why not? Why not ALWAYS play to the earlier of 90 overs or bad light/weather stops play? It’s time to think about the spectators. @SkyCricket

Why do England always slow the game down to walking pace in the really big games? Once again we look like a rabbit in headlights. We look so dangerous when we play at pace but never do so when the stakes are high. So frustrating to watch. #ENGFRA
