He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation along with inconsistent appetite means SEVEN will not be given much time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

A volunteer writes: Seven has been described as a total love bug when he wants to be. I'm a big fan of the caveat and think it may also explain why we haven't seen so much of his love bug ways at the Care Center. At under a year old, Seven's a baby who certainly doesn't love the Care Center and wants to make sure we're all on the same page about that. With paws tightly tucked, Seven has inspected our treats and has even allowed some pets, but he's finding shelter quite wearing to say the least. Though we've been trying to add some brightness wherever we can, Seven came to us from a home with many other cats and may not have had a lot of experience with meeting new people. We know there's a family out there for this special little guy. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

Blue was surrendered to us when his senior owner had to move. He is a “special needs” senior himself, who doesn’t like other cats, dogs or kids. He had a grumpy disposition at first & he did not want to be touched. He showed us his true loving self & found a wonderful home! 💕♥️
