Their suffering remains a painful reminder of the consequences of impunity.

The Kurdish-Jewish Community in Israel expresses its sincere condolences to the distinguished family of Salih Müslim and to the entire Kurdish people on the
passing of Salih Müslim, a prominent Kurdish political leader and one of the central figures in the Kurdish struggle for self-determination and dignity in Rojava.

Throughout his years of public service, he played a significant role in shaping the political vision of the Kurds in Syria and worked to promote democratic governance, coexistence, and the rights of minorities in the region.

We share in the grief of the Kurdish people and honor his contribution to the Kurdish national movement and the pursuit of freedom and justice.
