I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed the latest novel from Tahereh Mafi! The Shatter Me series was so special to me, and this book is so well-written and just phenomenal. Blew me away. Bought it on Wednesday and couldn't put it down.

@AndiHGrant @AmberRaeToro For me, I change that up depending on the genre of the book. I find that present tense is a better fit for sci-fi and dystopian because it's just a little less reassuring.

@mformellaleigh I have a fixed one that describes who I am and a little about my book which I might alter slightly depending on the agent, and then I usually add a personalised section at the end about why I chose that agent specifically to query.

Writers of Twitter, can anybody help me grow my list of agents to query? I write YA and new adult fiction, generally fantasy romance with some sci-fi and dystopian mixed in. I have some contemporary settings and some historical, and I draw a lot on mythology and folklore.
