@GNev2 What are you not getting? The way Man Utd have treated him over the last 2 years has been appalling. Aware players have contracts, but if you're not going to play them then you're damaging their career if you refuse to sell them when there's offers on the table.

@ExWHUemployee There's various factors to consider. What player would replace Rice? Would we get our top transfer targets if Rice were to leave? Can we sign the players we need with our current budget? It's not straight forward, as long as the team is improved everybody is replaceable

@RisingHammers We need to get these players out on loan more regularly. Our biggest downfall is they seem to stay in our youth set up and play meaningless games for too long. There's talent in that youth set up, find them a suitable club and give them a chance to impress on loan.

Just because we failed in January doesn't mean we will in the summer. We're aiming for a higher calibre of player, they are harder to sign especially in January

@Westyhammer @ExWHUemployee And what a team that is! You sign players that improve your XI. Phillips and Raphinha do exactly that, hence the bids. There's no point us signing a striker if they aren't better than what we have. There isn't a striker better than Antonio available in January, end of.

He's already doing that at Chelsea, has he not learnt anything? No thank you. Find somebody that wants to actually play football.
