Being on God's plan and purpose, does not mean you don't get discouraged. It just means in the discouragement you remind yourself of who put you on that journey, you shake yourself and turn to Him for encouragement as you continue the journey.
House and wealth are the inheritance from fathers, But a wise, understanding, and sensible wife is a gift and blessing from the Lord • Proverbs 19.14 AMP

A time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. In that day YOU WILL ASK in my name. I AM NOT SAYING THAT I WILL ASK THE FATHER ON YOUR BEHALF. John 16.25-26
Even Jesus doesn't stand btw you & personal intimacy with God

Jesus' sacrifice was to secure a direct personal relationship with God. The veil in the Temple was torn so “they will all KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST”, says God (Jeremiah 31.34).
In Christ Jesus, we were made for direct encounters, not 2nd hand experiences.
If you want to lose your faith build your Christianity on Christians. If you want to lose it faster, build it on yourself. However, if you wish to make sense of your Christian faith and keep it, build it on Christ.

I’ll give you 5 points to sum this all up:
1. Context of the Lord’s Supper:
At the Last Supper, Jesus used wine symbolically to represent His blood in instituting the New Covenant (Matthew 26:27-29). The focus was on the spiritual significance, not the act of drinking alcohol.
2. Paul’s Advice to Timothy:
Paul’s counsel to Timothy to “use a little wine” for his stomach (1 Timothy 5:23) was clearly for medicinal purposes. This recommendation was not an endorsement of casual drinking but a practical solution to Timothy’s specific health issue.
In modern times, we have advanced medicine and alternatives, making the medicinal use of wine largely unnecessary.
3. Principle of Wisdom and Moderation:
Even if wine was used in biblical times, the broader scriptural context consistently warns against drunkenness (Ephesians 5:18, Proverbs 23:29-35). Christians are called to be sober-minded (1 Peter 5:8), which alcohol—even in small amounts—can hinder.
Drinking alcohol for non-medicinal purposes can create unnecessary risks and open the door to addiction, poor judgment, or stumbling blocks for others (Romans 14:21).
4. Cultural Differences:
In the biblical era, wine was often safer to drink than water due to contamination. Today, we have clean drinking water and a wide range of beverages that don’t carry the same risks. The context of their usage no longer applies.
5. Focus on Consecration:
As Christians grow in Christ, the focus shifts from asking, “Is this permissible?” to “Is this beneficial and glorifying to God?” (1 Corinthians 10:23, 1 Corinthians 6:12). While drinking alcohol may not be a sin, avoiding it can reflect wisdom, self-control, and dedication to living above reproach.
Hi Saints, someone needs this Hope-capsule 💊🙂
…Have you even been through a phase in your life, I mean, a very challenging time, the type you never thought you could go through. Only to somehow, by God’s mercy and Grace, make it through, and then look back some time later and You begin to wonder why you were stressed, and why it was even a big deal in the first place. In fact, you look back and laugh at the way you acted. 🙂
Now, not because what you went through was necessarily a piece of cake o😌. But because in going through it, YOU GREW THROUGH IT. Hence it now looks like it was nothing. Because some persons who may have gone through a tenth of what you faced, could not make it through.
So, can you take a moment to celebrate the God who not only took you through it, but grew you through it. 😭🛐🙇🙇♀️
That’s why I’m confident that you will also go and grow through the present valley situation In Jesus’ name.
Now with Faith in your heart say, THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
“David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.”
1 Samuel 17:37
Happy Weekend Saints.
