We now face the choice of having to pay an extra £550 to keep our children at the nursery where they are settled/happy OR move our children to nurseries which don't provide long enough hours for the care we need, forcing many of us to cut our hours down and some to stop working.

Parents of young children in North Berwick are in crisis. The funding for 3-5 year olds nursery care at Pumpkin Patch Nursery has been removed by @ELCouncil with less than 4 weeks notice, despite clear evidence of excellent care and NO alternative childcare provision.
