Friday, THP Aviation Pilot Lt. Lund, Sgt. Page & Nashville Metro Firefighter Capt. Armistead flew to the Smokey Mountains to assist park rangers. A hiker was injured in the back country requiring a hoist rescue. The team flew the hiker to receive medical attention. @NashvilleFire
Traditionally, THP holds a memorial service annually to honor troopers lost in the line of duty. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we were unable to hold the service this year. Instead, we share this video tribute honoring our fallen troopers.
