@BronxBmbrz https://t.co/zOsHRtutl6 Has been a thing the past couple of seasons. Those fuckers don't want it. Someone even made this chart of how poor their record is when they even have a division lead or when only a game or two behind
The Padres have the underdog mentality, but lack the topdog mentality. From 2024 - 2026, the Padres have had many opportunities for the crown, but have fallen flat with an overall losing record whenever leading or 2 games behind the NL West. Hopefully 2026 is the year of change.
I want to give a big thank you to Padre fans at Petco Park last night. I’m a Cubs fan and ALWAYS try to catch games here in SoCal when the Cubs are in town. All game long people were coming down to my section to talk and take photos with me which I LOVE! Late in the game as I’m taking photos with followers between innings, a man started yelling very disrespectful things toward me which I ignored. He was intoxicated and I paid it no mind. But he kept going and then made a disgusting sexual gesture toward my fiancée. That made me snap but before I could say a word, Padre fans had my back calling him out for it even booing him. One Padre fan that was sitting by me could see how angry I was and put his hand on my shoulder and said not to let it ruin my night, that he was so impressed by how kind and personable I am with people and he’s not worth it, and he was right. I just want to say THANK YOU San Diego for having my back last night.
Yesterday, Tim Hill received the 2025 Tony Conigliaro Award, which recognizes a “Major Leaguer who has overcome adversity through the attributes of spirit, determination, and courage that were trademarks of Tony C."
Before Hill was selected in the 32nd round of the 2014 Draft, he lost his father, Jerry, to colon cancer at the start of his sophomore year of high school in 2007. Then, in 2015 during his first minor league spring training, Tim was diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome. Later, when Tim was 25, he was also diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer.
After enduring surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, he was declared cancer-free in late 2016 and returned to baseball, eventually making his Major League debut in 2018. The 2026 season marked Hill’s ninth in the Majors 💙
The thing about https://t.co/GUgOzXo5B1 is you're gonna see the same three commercials all game every game for the entire season and you're gonna like it
