I had a shitty visit with a doctor on Monday. This doctor always mentions my weight and never focuses on what is actually going on for me. This time he told me I should fast for 18 hours (without proper knowledge this is dangerous). Mentioned going to thailand for surgery

@NewshubNZ Yes. Please. I'm 6 months into my new job. No sick leave left. Had long covid after my first dose of covid. Have since had covid again. I feel so horrible most of the time, but I need to work to survive. Doctors also have no idea what to do with me. :(

@pulte Rent, food, surviving. Working 40 hours and can't seem to get it all covered. I just need an extra 500 and it'll give me breathing room. Right now I just feel like I'm drowning.

Today is my Sons 11th birthday, no party for a few reasons

- Awkward time of year.
- He's Autistic and has ADHD, school has been hard and he finds it hard to make/keep friends.
- Parties can be overwhelming for him.

Even so, its hard for a kid. We'll still have cake though!

@1NewsNZ There is one reason, and one reason only that he wants it to stay as 18. The problem is, while the youth vote would almost certainly favour the left (i.e not Labour, but Greens) it would actually be more varied than I think the older generation expect.
