Today was the last day of our adult English classes. After reviewing their tests, the students held a celebration to recognize their accomplishments in completing Level 2.
Mr. Cooper and the Golden Bars club gave an incredible performance for our students today. The club even performed one of their own original songs! We are so grateful for their talent, creativity, and energy.

Our annual committee fair is always a great celebration of our school community, bringing families together with helpful resources and opportunities to get involved. A great time was had by all!

Today our steering committee reviewed student voice data from grades 3–5. We’re proud to share that our students feel safe at school, have clear ideas about the after-school clubs they want, and are dreaming big about their futures. Their voice helps guide our work! 🐊
Arcola is identified as a site for emergency meal service on January 28, 2026.
Two lunch meals will be provided. Grab and Go meal distribution will be available from 12pm-2pm for ages 18 and under, and those above 18 with a disability who are
enrolled in school programs.

It was a packed house at our first parent coffee of the new school year! Caregivers learned about our school improvement process and how to get their children involved in Scouting America. We are setting the tone for success for our community!
This morning we introduced our new PCC, Ms. Celia Juarez, to the families at the Amherst bus stop. While there, she informed parents about upcoming English classes. Building trust and relationships makes a BIG impact for our community!
