@yoodadude the joker as a character isn’t meant to be better. he’s the villain you can never catch. i understood both the first movie and this part, but of course the audience wants the spiral to madness like the classic joker. and we’re missing the typical harley quinn dynamic.
@yoodadude not the worst movie, not the best. beautiful cinematography, actors, the musical elements got old but related to the message. it just wasn’t what “joker” typically is, and yes it shadows mental illness, but no one wanted a movie on rehab. this took a 360 for expectations.
@keaaaaley beautiful acting, marvelous actors, horrible story line and ending.
maybe bc it is t the typical joker tale and focused more on mental illness, but i don’t feel this was what it could’ve been.
@Mutant_Menace but this doesn’t tell the joker the audience desires, the one who would watch the world burn and always escapes. yes it’s more real encapsulating mental illness but the storyline could’ve been scripted alot better and, the ending should have been different arguably.
@Mutant_Menace i also think there’s lots of theory, being the inmate at the end cuts his face nodding to heath ledgers joker as well as harvey having half his face burned to rep two face. this movie may have neat little easter eggs and song lyrics that relate to the situation and story -
