Two Bengalis start speaking to each other in Bangla not because of a shared desire to bully others. They do it because they find their own language ‘cool’ to converse in.
Which is why Bengalis look down and laugh at petty, fringe groups like Bangla Pokkho.
You don’t need to impose your language, that too in your own land. You draw people in with its richness, brilliance, and a certain indomitable fun factor.
