@DanielLMcAdams So long as Russia is getting what it wants in Ukraine, it might make sense not to change things, but frontline changes in Ukraine are making it seem like slow grinding progress is turning to a practical stalemate, so those disincentives to escalation may be disappearing.
@Yelkington1@AuronMacintyre Apart from the Bill of Rights, the US constitution completely sucks, and there would have been no need for the Bill of Rights apart from the constitution. The constitution sucks, and the war was only one of its huge faults.
@LibertyLockPod Who cares about the GOP? Who cares if there's 1 good rep out of 435? It's time to recognize what we should have been burning down all along was the constitution. It's an irreparably broken system.
@CptAncapistan@ChaseForLiberty Massie's district is so red, Gallrein could win the general election with more or less just the portion of Republicans he won in the primary, so Massie's supporters would actually need to go beyond not voting and vote for the Dem for Gallrein to lose the general election.
@LPMisesCaucus It's so much worse than that. Drawing young men off to war is terribly destructive of families and communities even completely apart from the men that are killed and maimed (physically and mentally.)
@IanTaylorSwole@F1tness_Fr3ak@CptAncapistan Those Somalians were brought to the US in response to American overseas military adventures, too, so yeah, the cost of that fraud and all the other costs they've imposed on Americans can be added, together with the defense budget, to the cost of American imperialism.
@beaubarlotte@ivanthegrave@CptAncapistan@CaitlinPacific@annbauerwriter What was the point of your first reply to me if not to point out the very close connection between an inherited right to rule over other people and slavery? One comment later you're suddenly blind to that connection?
@F1tness_Fr3ak@CptAncapistan The opportunity for 4-person household to pay an average of $10,000/year in taxes for the military alone? The opportunity for our young men to be sent to go kll people on the other side of the planet for reasons having nothing to do with our security?
@Stephan04879011@GregMooreNH I didn't know NH also had a 10% of current value "land use change tax" on top of NH's extremely high property tax rate (3-4 times the rate of other states that also have present use value systems.)
