1) I got to slow dance with @dfarrah426 at our middle kid’s marriage reception Saturday night. It may not sound like much, but I was mostly wheelchair bound from January until just a few weeks ago. Combine that with the bad scan results I just got & I tried to savor every second.
@JJSingleton1 Just keep on going JJ, I know how hard this has been on you, but you just continue to defy the odds. You also continue to save lives by advocating. Congrats on this huge milestone, love you brother!!
@ThanksCancer After discussions with my oncologist & my wife, I’ve decided to enter hospice. Chemo & my clinical trial both failed & I felt stopping treatment was better than my remaining chemo option. I’ve decided I want quality for whatever time I have left instead of quantity.
I am dedicating every tackle and turnover I make this season to raise money for Maddox Potter, a 16 y/o from WV with stage four cancer.
Please pledge a donation for every tackle or turnover I make this season to help Maddox beat cancer!!! #HailWV 💙💛

Please think of us tomorrow morning. We have some extremely tough decisions to make. Unfortunately, it may be months before we’ll know if we made a good decision. #ColorectalCancer
There is so much courage in oncology, not just in patients who weigh the risk/benefit of chemo & proceed after informed consent, but also in those who decide to focus exclusively on quality of life
