I still can’t move on from story of Wuthering Waves 3.1, even after completing storyline 3.3. I often can’t hold back my tears when I rewatch this scene, whether I’m watching this as kid of my parents or as a parent in the future.

hmmm.... I can't leave Windows because of Adobe. When there's an alternative like Blender or Cavalry, the learning curve is so slow and takes time. VM like Winboat does not support HW Accell yet :(

Pre-rendering with ProRes is very useful when parts of a sequence or composition are already complete. It doesn’t take long to preview the pre-rendered sequence. The downside is that you need a lot of storage space.

【映像編集における主要コーデックまとめ】

映像編集の2大コーデックと言えば ProRes と H.264 ですが、実務では他にもいくつか重要なものがあります。
今回はそれらを簡単に整理します。

🔴 ProRes（.mov）
編集耐性が強く中間フォーマットに最適
ファイルサイズはやや大きいが画質が安定し納品にも向いている
422 / 422HQ / LT / Proxy など用途別に選択可能

🔴 H.264（.mp4 / .mov）
高圧縮でファイルサイズが軽い
配信・確認用・納品用と幅広く使用
GOP圧縮のためPC負荷は高く、実は編集素材には不向き

🔴 H.265 / HEVC（.mp4 / .mov）
H.264よりさらに高圧縮・高画質でPC負荷が高い
編集現場ではあまり見ることは少ないが、4K・HDR配信で一部使用
今後H.264の代替となる可能性が高い

🔴 DNxHD / DNxHR（.mov / .mxf）
Avid系の標準で、ProResと同じ中間コーデック思想
放送やAvid案件に関わらなければあまり見ない
HQ / SQ / LB など品質別に選択可能

🔴 XAVC（.mxf / .mp4）
Sonyカメラの代表的な収録コーデック
実体はH.264 / H.265系
カメラ素材として非常に流通量が多い
そのまま編集することも多いが、4K素材では負荷が高いためProResへ変換推奨

🔴 AVC-Intra / AVC-Ultra（.mxf）
Panasonicの業務・放送向けコーデック
フレーム内圧縮で編集耐性が高い
ニュース・記録映像で現在も使用されている

🔴 RAW系（.r3d / .braw / .ari など）
センサー情報を保持した非圧縮／低圧縮素材
カラーや露出調整の自由度が非常に高い
直接編集も可能だが、基本的には現像・変換が前提
映画・CMなどで使用

📌 まとめ
🔹編集・中間素材 → ProRes / DNxHR
🔹配信・提出 → H.264 / H.265
🔹カメラ収録 → XAVC / AVC / RAW
