Three unrelated crypto stories landed the same week.

A law that's still stuck. A product that actually shipped. And a bug from 2018 that finally got exposed.

- One year ago, Congress passed CLARITY, GENIUS, and the Anti-CBDC Act together in the House

- GENIUS is law now, first big rulemaking deadline hits July 18

- Anti-CBDC became law too, just riding in on a housing bill instead of the defense bill it was promised

- CLARITY, the one that actually settles SEC vs CFTC turf, is still stuck in the Senate a year later

Meanwhile, Jito shipped JTX on Solana.

- Self-custodial terminal, charts, limit orders, TWAPs, portfolio view, no CEX needed

- Spot opened to its first 1,000 waitlisted users on July 14

- Perps and prediction markets are next

- JIP-38 passed a day before launch, locking 80% of platform revenue into JTO buybacks and burns for a year

Those wallets were never hacked in real time. They were broken since the day they were created.
