“No Nigerian must be made to remain in the IDP camp. Those who lived there must return to their respective homes.”
~ HE Peter Obi, 1 October speech
An IDP camp is not a home. Displacement is not a permanent condition. People driven from their land must return, and the state must make that return possible under Peter Obi’s leadership if elected the President of Nigeria.
@Dannymasterp@Imranmuhdz Elon saying "It is really difficult to hack paper ballots" tells you all u need to know about his mindset and understanding about other systems outside the American syst.
So I ask. " How difficult has it been for PDP & APC to hack our manual system"?
Trust me Elon cannot fathom
@MikeArnoldTruth@ObiYhwh@charlesaniagolu@ARISEtv@ruffydfire 🤔
I respect Charles but I'm taken aback by this behaviour.
That said I assert that Nigerian mainstream journalists are too afraid to say what they really think about these killings.
I'm not aware of a single one who has not regurgitated the official govt position.
@ACHILEMY1@MikeArnoldTruth@ARISEtv The uncharacteristic radio silence of Reno is incriminating in itself but blocking Mike would be an admission of guilt. Beyond that, due to the scale of public attention generated by the ongoing scandal, he can only hope for the whole thing to blow over with time
@ishayaibrahim1@MikeArnoldTruth@charlesaniagolu What's with the "sacred cow" mentality and idolization of public figures.
Yes Charles is respected by many of us but you can't extrapolate that to the rest of the world. He's got to earn it with Mike and everyone else who doesn't recognise him as much.
@SIKAOFFICIAL1 Hope the poor guy is alive & didn't incure any critical injuries.
I pray for speedy physical, mental & financial recovery from this ordeal
@ruffydfire Like they say, if after someone explains Nigeria to you & you understand them, then you're either mad or possess some god-level comprehension capacity..
@WorldRenownedMC@jeffreypeterson@DavidHundeyin Agree with your point about Edo elections being 'RELATIVELY' free of violence..
I guess the issue is the misleading optics of such a News Headline especially to majority of netisans with little to no insights into the political realities in Nigeria.
@ruffydfire among certain demographics who have not typically supported Republicans in the past decades.
I will be careful about attributing the growing support for Trump, among US citizens, to ignorance or poor judgement.
I want to believe their are a few high IQ, well-read and wise people
@ruffydfire I disagree with you Sir.
It is true that Trump doesn't possess the smooth-talking, highly diplomatic and crisp-personality we've become so accustomed to seeing in Presidential candidates but roughly 50% population of the US tend to love him and his popularity seems to be growing
