Friday 5/1/2026 - Kentucky Oaks Picks @KentuckyDerby

1) Explora - She’s a classy filly that has raced with the best of late and held her own. Can beat you on the lead and can beat you coming off of pace. Can hang and will be there in any pace scenario.

11) Percy’s Bar - Classy like Explora and will have a great kick coming down the lane, especially if there isn’t pace. If there is pace, she will most likely sit right off it and make a good run.

7) Dazzling Dame - **Longshot here** Her fractions are honest and if this horse gets loose on the front, she might steal this thing. She’s been training phenomenally and she comes out of some underrated quality races where she is beating winners that are fast runners next time out. Do not be surprised if this horse hit’s the board or wins.

5) Meaning - Big filly who can runs with the company that she racing today. She’s has a good kick down the lane and she’s been working out well. This is one of these horses that you see what you get and she’s won all her races besides the breeders cup juvi.

Honorable mention - 9)Always a Runner, 10)Prom Queen - I felt like these 2 are very similar in running style. I think chads horse is still very green and hasn’t really raced against competition like this. Like to see who beats who out of these 2.

R7) - 1) Mae Town - Looking forward to seeing this horse flying down the lane.
R8) - 8) Goodall - Prat and Assmussen, fast horse.
R9) - 1) Navajo Warrior - Not saying he will win, just looking forward to see if he belongs.
R10) - 1) Ramsey Pond - I feel like a mile and 8th is going to be the right distance. 5) Kathynmarissa - If she can come off the layoff good, I think she’s a winner.
R11) - 8) Dry Powder - Do not sleep on this horse.
R12) - 1) Storm Wake - Will be coming down the lane late.
